But our school year usually ends in May. I use the summer for &quot;summer school&quot; which is when we participate in a number of extra curricular activities and camps that we are unable to during the school year. This is also a time to review areas we need to or practice new skills.<br /><br />This year, due to a number of family obligations and situations our school year is ending in mid August.
